Ok but not wow factor. Have taken a few o/s visitors on cruises. This one flat. Ship in need of attention but crew very good.

Perhaps prior to cruise provide some better background and show route. When on cruise more anecdotes and the unusual.

The boat was very comfortable. The narrator spoke clearly, and gave good information about the places we were seeing from the harbour cruise. There was a good blend of history and current information.

I would buy from them again I think.

The commentary cannot be heard on the top deck very well. It is good but you have to be inside to hear it.

The seating upstairs is inadequate and there is no break in the centre. There used to be seating out of the sun on either side of the steps still with a view.

Going under the Spit Bridge used to be a highlight.

The trip back is too slow with much less to see.

Going under the bridge is good and going a little further would be great.

Biscuits are very poor - mingy. A half or even quarter box as given to the more expensive ticket would be much better or a choice of a sandwich or cake.

To have a guided tour of the sydney harbour was a delightful experience hardly to forget.

We had one 10 years ago but it was a kind of recording, this one was much lively and enriched.

The tour operator Andrew was very animated and a good story teller/narrator. However, more Australian history would have been appreciated. There was too much talk about the cost of real estate on the harbour (obviously!) and not enough talk about important stuff. But he was pleasant and interesting! The views were great and the time of the tour was perfect (2 hours). The barman wasn't friendly. It means everything to have friendly, honest staff on board. Overall, a good cruise.

Response from Captain Cook Cruises: Hi Diana,

Thank you so much for the feedback on the Harbour Story cruise, we appreciate the time you took to write to us.
We will pass on all the feedback you gave us on the commentators. Thank you for praising our staff, they're amazing!

Thank you again.

Regards,
