In March 2026, Sydney Harbour becomes the stage for the Royal Australian Navy’s 125th Anniversary International Fleet Review - a spectacular salute to the men and women who have served Australia at sea since 1901. Experience precision, pageantry, and the unmistakable thrill of a once-in-a-generation maritime celebration.
Sydney Harbour will come alive with a powerful assembly of Australian and international naval vessels, featuring immaculate formations, ship handling displays and ceremonial traditions set against the city’s iconic skyline. Above the Harbour, formation fly-pasts and aerial salutes will add to the spectacle, while seamanship demonstrations and search-and-rescue displays provide an insider’s view of naval skill and capability. The thunder of ceremonial gun salutes will mark key moments, and the city will resound with stirring performances from naval bands, alongside a combined naval march through the Sydney CBD. The celebrations will likely culminate in a dazzling fireworks finale - a fitting tribute to 125 years of service.
The Royal Australian Navy was officially formed on Friday 31st March 1911.
