Service: The service and food were great. Not your fault that the weather clouded any view of the harbour and foreshore. Very impressed with the beautifully set table and thankyou for the birthday sparkler for our friend's 60th birthday. Would definitely recommend.

On reaching the vessel, the ushers led us to a small table hardly enough to fit two adults, let alone with a three year old.
Later, another staff took us to larger table, thanks to her.
While other patrons were having the main course we had to call the attention of the crew for them to take our order. The whole experience was like having to wait for everyone before we are served. Food was good other wise my rating would be two star

We were extremely disappointed with the incompetent administration staff at the Captain Cook Pier 26 office. We missed our boat because the woman told us to wait at King St Wharf no 8. She drew the location on a map, but failed to give us the map. We waited 45 minutes at the wrong wharf and missed our boat, then had to walk to Circular quay. When phoning the office for options, they were also very unsympathetic and offered very little service except 'you'd better walk fast' .
We were a party of ten - including two seniors over 60, a heavily (9 months) pregnant young lady and a woman with a broken foot in a cam-boot, and two children. The walk was 1.5 kms and we only had 15 minutes until the boat left.

Service: Wonderful trip showcasing one if the worlds great harbours. 4 Hours including a 3 course meal of impecable quality. The Sydney Opera House and Bridge were best seen in this relaxed mode. Our American guest in her late 70's totally enjoyed it.

Service: The lunch cruise was great from the moment we stepped onto the boat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having our 'own' table waitress made us feel more comfortable and more important.
Product: The price is very good for all the service and the time we spent on the boat. The food was delicious. A little disappointed that tea and coffee aren't included in the price even if that means raising the price a little.

I have brought family from europe to sydney and have done the lunch buffet cruise with them. They all enjoyed the experience. The food is always fresh and plentiful. The service is excellent. Service: Absolutely fantastic the staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and the whole ambiance was a memorable experience. The views of the harbour opera house and the surrounding areas were exceptional. Well worth it would definately recommend.

Overall we enjoyed our high tea and cruise but we had minor criticism in a couple of areas.
I felt the table area was too small for 3 persons. We felt that more sandwiches would be preferable and the general quality of the food was below 5 stars. We would recommend and do again. The price is acceptable in our opinion too!

Service: All the staff treated us as their special guests. Nothing was too much or too difficult. My 8 year old granddaughter said it was the best day of her life. My 92 year old mother loved the cruise. The whole experience was easy and enjoyable even with my Mother’s limited mobility. Thank you to all the staff.

The buffet selection was average/limited and could not hear the commentary from allocated seat. Buffet was on lowest deck which I understand was not normal. Coffee in the urn ran out. Help with booking was excellent.

As you're aware, finding the right balance for volume for our GPS commentary can be difficult as each customer has different tastes and preferences. Service: My second cruise both amazing received warm welcome on arrival food was delicious nice and clean. Fantastic surprise we were celebrating my aunties 80th and a cake was brought out and everyone sang happy birthday. I didn’t like that the food was already out and you were basically made to go up and get your food straight away. I was there to sight see I wasn’t interested in food the moment we stepped on board. I thought we would get on, someone would give us a run down of what to expect on the trip and then the food would come out and as we liked we could go up and get food. We got our food and went back to our table to finally start sight seeing and listening to commentary when someone came up and asked us if we would like drinks, which was nice but I had already got our drinks. Then just as we started eating again, a photographer came up and kept taking our photo not sure how we are meant to sight see or listen to commentary when we keep getting interrupted. About half way through the cruise I wanted another drink, of course no one would come near us then nor was anyone ever at the bar to go and get one myself, I never got another drink. Right at the end of the cruise I discovered that there was an outside deck you go out on, this would have been nice to be informed about at the start.

Service: Service before and during the Long Lunch Cruise was amazing. My work team unfortunately had to cancel our Xmas Lunch Cruise at the last minute in December 2019 (out of our control) and the service team understood and although the cost was not refundable, they provided a credit for a future cruise which we took in February when we were all back from leave. Re booking was no problem and the food and service onboard was fantastic.
Product: Amazing food and food choice. Very filling and tasted fantastic! Wine choice was also great and the option to get off earlier suited some of our work team and for those who didn't have to rush back to the office, we enjoyed the 4.5hours cruising around the harbour. Only fault was the coffee wasn't great.

I thought it was good. we had a lovely time. We had a discussion afterwards and the main comment was.....Usually at a high tea when the food is placed on the table the server tells you what is on the plates. Nothing was said. It was an extremely hot day outside on that day we went. I had hoped the ship would've been cool. It wasn't. We come from the country for a weekend getaway. I asked one of the cabin crew a question about what was getting built out on the shore line. She, although very pleasant and had a great smile really didn't understand a word that I was saying. I thought that to be a little sad. However i would recommend it to other people. And may book it again myself.

The cruise itself was great, and we took the long lunchtime cruise so went up on top for the second run around the harbour - this was quite entertaining and we enjoyed the narration that plays.

The lunch itself though was quite ordinary. The meat was dry, the food fairly tasteless, just not particularly enjoyable.

Service: My son and I enjoyed our lunchtime cruise on Sydney Harbour immensely. Our waitress, Enid, was lovely. She was polite, friendly and efficient and made sure all our needs were taken care of.

We had booked a window table, however our table was next to a large and very loud group booking. We asked to be moved and Enid arranged it quickly, with no fuss. She relocated us to another window table away from the group. The rest of our cruise was delightful.

The menu was small, however it had something for everyone. My son enjoyed the ravioli for entree, a perfectly cooked eye fillet for main and a 'stone' coconut concoction for desert which he said was delicious! I ordered the king prawn entree, the eggplant vegetarian dish for main and the chocolate caramel for desert. All were mouth-watering delicious.

We will definitely do this cruise again.

Service: The long lunch cruise was very enjoyable, meal was more than satisfactory although on the small size. My major disappointment was for the second half on the cruise there was practically no waiter service as all were too busy setting up for the dinner cruise. Trying to get a drink was an effort and we had prepaid for drinks.

Service: The tea was very poor in presentation, selection and nothing seemed very fresh.
Tea was luke warm with water that had come from an urn. This disappointing as I had experienced this Cruise some years ago and was very happy with it.

Unfortunately the day we had booked was very smoky but I think captain cook made an excellent day. We got to see all the tourist attractions very close and the staff was amazing. We got a beautiful window seat for 6 people, and we didn't pay extra for that. Big plus. I really recommend to book long lunch, and 3 course. The food was perfect, and also you will have more time to see things. :)

Service: The booking was done quickly and well. The Crew were very respectful and kept us informed. They looked for our well-being with getting on and off the vessel - saw us to our assigned places, made friendly comments and hoped that we would have a pleasant time on the Harbour.
Our table occupants next to us were very friendly and we found out that we had some connections with family previously unaware of. They found out that we were Religious Sisters celebrating our 65th Anniversary of becoming Sisters, and bought us our wine as a friendly gesture. One of the Staff (Laura) who was attending to us, noticed what was happening, and enquired the reason for our celebrating. At the end of our meal she brought us a beautiful ice-cold flute of champagne with a fizzing sparkler, and that was the most beautiful gesture we could imagine.

Overall it was good, not great. Service was initially very slow-we ordered the drinks package and we were seated for 45 mins and had our entree before a glass of wine arrived. Service speed did improve after this. Food was good although not amazing-the fish was a little dry. Beautiful views of the harbour and a nice way to see it on a very hot day -I had visitors from Canada who loved being able to see our beautiful harbour in the comfort of air conditioning.

I live in the East Sydney and enjoy it’s harbour. My London friend wanted a boat experience w lunch. I chose a high end experience and was not disappointed. Service n staff very friendly. Service: All staff were very polite. Our waitress Bibi was very attentive.
Product: We had guests from Chicago and quite frankly were embarrassed with the meal. Firstly, it wasn't the long leisurely lunch we thought it would be. Everything came out so fast and we were through the meal before we knew it. Three out of four of us ordered the barramundi and it was so dry. The fourth guest didn't eat much of her meal. I would have preferred to have fresh fruit than the desserts offered. For paying close to $100 per head I would have expected a better standard of food.

Service: We boarded at Darling Harbour at midday and by 1.20 p.m. we had only had our entree and one drink, the waitress was extremely busy and did not have time to return to our table for orders. Our booking was for 6 with long lunch and premium drinks package. Every year we have friends from Germany and Melbourne who come to Sydney for a lunch harbour cruise with us. Normally we book with Majestic, but this year we felt that your cruise offer was superior, unfortunately this was not the case, as we were disappointed with the delay in service. We had to follow up on our main meals as other tables had received and finished their mains and we had not been served.

My Mom has a very hard time with stairs so I told Captain Cook about her disability and they said no dramas they could help out. When we got there we were told she had to go.up the stairs 1 level so after a struggled up we were told our table was on the first level and she had to go back down the stairs. After we finally got settled in our table the food, ride and service was amazing from then on.

Service: Entry to the boat was great with staff awaiting to take us to our allocated seat as soon as we arrived on the club deck. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. The welcome bubbly was delicious and the food was plentiful and of great quality.

My only gripe was the photographer who took some very amateurish pictures and kept having to take them again & again. In the end she tried to sell us two photos, one of which contained another guest clearly in the background the other was of my wife and I, but as she had been asked to sit next to me, we could have been anywhere? From a pub to in a hotel? When we said that we didn’t want either of them, the photographer seemed annoyed and walked off in a huff!

Please get a better photographer!

Service: two prawns, a small piece of fish, isn't really an entrée and main meal. Service was slow, in direct contrast to what we experienced last year on the xmas day cruise(hard to believe its the same company). Positive, was the young Chinese man Tomotero? who held the boat to wait for a couple of our stragglers, and then organised for a late arrival to join us at Circular Quay, he was very good.

To be honest we were a little disappointed. The food was great but there were issues with the service.

Our waiter had no idea what was going on. He gave us the wrong drinks menu and did t even know how long the cruise was for. He was slow and looked flustered.

Then we got held up getting back to Circular Quay due to a cruise ship leaving. While I appreciate it wasn’t the crew’s fault they didn’t provide us with information couldn’t tell is when we were getting in and wouldn’t let anyone even get a drink from the bar. The hold up was in the end close to an hour.

Also with the one boat trying to accommodate several different cruise options it didn’t feel personal we just kind of felt hearses through.

We have been on several cruises on the harbour in Sydney and other harbours around the world and this was left me a bit wanting.

I cancelled my travel to NSW/Sydney because of cathastrophic bush fire. I already cancelled a week before the trip but they said no refund. They should have an option for refund in case of an act of nature because it is not my fault that I cancelled for the safety of my family.

The Seafood Buffet had all my favourites. There were generous amounts of all the food, hot and cold salads .........ennough for having more. Service: On the whole the service was very good except for one important request for my elderly parents to be near the bathroom and preferably have no stairs. They were on the second floor the furthest table from the entrance and bathroom with 2 flights of stairs. Mum didn't fall and break anything and they had a lovely lunch but it could have been disastrous as she's 80 with shocking balance and osteoporosis.

Really enjoyed the High Tea cruise with Captain Cook yesterday. Service was prompt and friendly and the quality of the bubbles, tea and both sweets and savoury items was very good! A few small suggestions would be;
- To provide a shaded area (perhaps some weighted umbrellas?) in the area where people wait to board as it was very hot and would have been most appreciated.
- Include 1 glass of bubbles in the base price of this tour with the option to upgrade to unlimited, even if you raise the base price to allow for this. Most High Teas will include one glass of bubbles.
- Label the sauces served on the buffet (one of our party is allergic to very hot chilli and wasn't aware there was a very hot chilli sauce). While not a tragedy, if someone had a very sever allergic reaction, this could become a Duty of Care issue.
Overall, we had a lovely afternoon out and have posted about it on social media with the #captaincookcruises hashtag will recommend it to friends. Just always looking at how to maximise the experience for people. Many thanks.

Service: Our team were rather impressed with the ship and the service.
The 3 course luncheon was great & the drinks were nice.
When cruising the harbour, we thought the cruise was over when the ship pulled up to the wharf, after a couple of minutes. The boat took off again. Would have been nice to know that the ship was pulling up a couple of times, so I could let staff aware if they wanted to leave early they could. Besides that we all had an amazing time.
Product: The payment side of things was really easy. We paid in two installments(deposit & final payment) via credit card, there is an additional charge but it was a rather easy process.

Service: Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch cruise. Would recommend to anyone. Food was good. The wait staff very friendly. The only small negative was asking for some drinks a couple of times and they seem to have forgotten. In the end we got drinks so nothing too bad. Also, didn't realise the ship berthed twice at both docks. Was about to get off at Circular Quay the first time and then the ship left again. So nice to stay on but an announcement might have been good to let us know it was a choice to get off or not.

Service: We have used Captain Cook many times with the same vessel and the same package. The quality of service and food seems to improve each year.
Product: Sometimes a cruise similar to this people are served up very ordinary food. This is not the case with Captain Cook. The food is of very high quality and the wine is from a very well respected vineyard in the Hunter Valley.

Service: The high tea harbour cruise was excellent value for money including the additional amount for a window seat. The food and service was very good but the thing that missed the 'excellent' rating was a delay in a second pot of tea being offered. Not sure if there was a reason but in any event, there needs to be an awareness of clients' situation and be ready to respond. Having said that would not hesitate to do it again and we have already recommended that friends consider this if/when is Sydney. The cruise route was also very good.
Product: Excellent value for money which was perfect on an afternoon cruise. Cruise route was good and we saw the main attractions in the harbour and around to Darling Harbour.

we said ok but then after the first one I couldn't get another, I should have asked for the bottle to be left at the table! Also after ordering our drinks they were left at the bar and not brought to the table! Other than that everything else was good.

Service: I had the most wonderful three course luncheon on the Captain Cook's Sydney Harbour. The service was friendly and considerate and the table settings immaculate.
The view was fabulous and the speed and direction of the cruise very suitable for sightseeing and photography. The food was five star. I'd do it again and recommend it highly.

Service: The tea was revolting and cold and there needed to be a larger pot .Lack of personality of staff, no interaction or local knowledge . Could not hear the commentary and there was no music or atmosphere. We stopped at Darling Harbor with no view at a port while staff reloaded and restocked for almost 25 minutes. This was 1 third of the cruise. I don't think that was appropriate at all. Food was very average. 1 very small portion of a sandwich and semi warm pastry and dry cakes.
Product: I called to make an inquiry before booking. I wanted to know if the date we wanted was worth booking a window seat . I was told absolutely . The boat was almost empty so it was pointless paying extra.\. Felt ripped off.

Service: The food was delicious and the scenery on the first half of the cruise was spectacular. We did not realize that the "long lunch" was a repeat of the first half. Also, the service was unbelievably slow. We had gotten the premium liquor package but it took us a half hour to get our first drink. If would have been preferable to do a different route on the second half, and if the server is being trained, have him/her shadow someone for at least a week or assign them initially to people who do not pay for premium liquor and window seats
Product: The purchase was quite easy. It would have been better to make it clear that you need to exchange your reservation confirmation for actual tickets and exactly where the transaction should be done, but everyone was so customer focused!

Service: I have been to a few high teas around Sydney. Some of which I have to say were a little more better. The food was quite nicely done and served well.The tea could have been a little hotter for my personal taste. We did not finish all of the portions /cakes and politely asked if we could take home 3 items that were not consumed but were refused on account the chef did not allow food to be taken home. As I had actually paid for this service I was quite annoyed by this ruling.Other venues have no issues with this request.Nevertheless it was still an enjoyable afternoon and it is a wonderful way to view our beautiful harbour.
Product: It is quite good value but I think the extra $10 for a window seat is a little excessive as the area is quite small and you do have reasonable access to the window regardless of where you are sitting.

Service: Being six in our party, we were made so welcome and placed in full view of your glorious harbour. Our waiter was delightful and efficient as was the wine waiter. We didn,t want our cruise to end, but have been left with many happy memories of our Captain Cook Cruise.We are back in N. Z. but the photographs have widely displayed.
Product: We are not big eaters, but your food presentation was excellent and appetizing. The relatively short time from gathering the menu details until the food arrived was either very short or we were talking too much! Being with a friend with whom I grew up in England, was very special as we emigrated 60 years ago, with one going to Sydney eventually and the other to N.Z.

Service: Beautiful boat, lovely staff all dressed in crisp clean uniforms. The food, although there wasn't a lot of choices what they did have was good quality and everything was very tasty, sometimes at a buffet everything is bland but this was delicious and the flavour in the deserts was amazing, probably the nicest and tastiest deserts I have ever had at a buffet, can't wait to go again!

The sparkling rose on arrival was a little rough going down and it’s probably important to have the first thing you taste to be good to set the tone for the rest of the experience. The high tea tasting plate was very mid-range. Again, definitely not bad, but not great either. It feels a bit like the company is relying on the harbour experience as the selling point at the cost of the quality of the food. I was happy with the experience, but if that food was served somewhere that didn’t bob along the harbour I’d be pretty disappointed with it.

Service: It was average. I booked the cruise for a Hens but there was no special decoration or anything of the sort to acknowledge the bride to be. I found the waitresses to not be very friendly either, I had paid for limitless alcohol but they seemed to be hesitant to serve us more when we asked for it. Also a photographer took photos of us on the cruise without first asking us if we were happy to pay for them and how much it would cost.
Product: Food was average and they wouldn't let us take some home that was left over .

Firstly the instructions regarding the service of the food were not clear and not spoken loud enough for all to hear. There were some ‘nibbles’ type food but no mention of their provision. The hot food was not labelled to indicate the name of the dish and its contents or wether it was vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Admittedly we did not specify any special needs but that would not negate the need for food labelling.
The commentary and other services were satisfactory.
The assistance given to me in the organisation of our Bus travel and Cruise has been very helpful and greatly appreciated.

Service: Very poor service, the food portions were small and the buffet didnt even last an hour. The staff were packing up after 40 minutes and the remainder of the journey was practically site seeing. For the amount paid its not worth it at all.

Service: The food was delicious and the wine we ordered passable but exorbitantly priced for what it was. The waitress tried very hard but her English was almost non existent and she couldn't answer a single question we asked. Surely on a cruise of this nature, mostly for tourists, she should be able to identify what is out the window. I had been told there was a commentary on the second turn around the harbour. When there was silence, I asked again. No, no commentary I was told. Our visitors had to endure our commentary instead. And then someone went to the toilet and heard the commentary downstairs! We would have gone down had we known. All in all, I was very disappointed and would definitely not recommend this to visitors.

Service: The host was excellent, entertaining and attentive; both gentlemen on board were fantastic!
Product: Overall the food was delicious...especially the prawn pancake and the goat's cheese and beetroot tart. However the 'hot' savoury food was not that hot or fresh I suspect and the mini cupcakes were dry and had a pretty terrible taste, the scone were also a little dry.

After finishing our complimentary glass of sparkling wine we enquired, and subsequently purchased an additional bottle of the same, ie Brown Brothers Zibibbo Rosa. This retails for approximately $13.00 a bottle however we charged $58.00!!! Based on this alone we would potentially not book again

Service: From start to finish ALL staff (especially Arina our waitress) were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Couldn’t fault a thing. Food was plentiful and very tasty. We were celebrating 2 special birthdays and had sparklers on our dessert which was great! The boat itself was very clean and tidy and decor etc was in great condition. Thought with the constant use it might be a bit shabby but it wasn’t at all. It truly is a top-class floating restaurant that could hold its own anywhere. One issue we could see was the lack of a lift to the top deck. My husband is recovering from a knee replacement and found it quite difficult to climb the stairs.
Product: Great value for money. Only disappointment was that we thought the boat could have cruised further than it did. It seemed to go very slow compared to every other boat (big and small) on the harbour. We all agreed that was the one and only thing we were slightly aggrieved with.

Food was good but the quality of the boat and interior was very average. It wasn't organised and they kept changing to the boarding location without any notice. We had to go and find out.. We rang and they told us to board on one pier but then we found out it was wrong. The speakers were terrible and they went very loud we had to block our ears.

Service: My husband and i had an absolutely lovely time on the lunch cruise, food and wine were superb. Staff were so helpful and polite. Would highly recommend you do this cruise.
Only criticism is that i thought it was a guided tour with someone explaining the sites. A little disappointed that we didn't know exactly what we were looking at.

Service: We had enjoyed the Captain Cook Top Deck Lunch for almost 15 plus years and only had one bad experience when the Air Conditioning broke down on a very hot day.
However our recent experience was pathetic and I put it down to cost cutting at the expense of quality of service.
We booked a TOP DECK LUNCH expecting to be seated on the Top Deck as we had the last 10 or 12 times, with very intimate service, lovely offering of a variety of breads with olive oil etc,and after lunch coffee and top ups on the extended long lunch.
However we did not get a TOP DECK LONG LUNCH instead we were "coralled into the 2nd deck along with everyone else on board" those that had ordered Asian Lunch, High Tea, etc, we were sent to the front of the boat along with about 40 other patrons and given a table Number 61 in the corner with timber pannelling almost completely blocking our view. we requested to be relocated to the usual seating on the Top Deck and were told it was not available. Even to be relocated into the centre of the ship would have been a more pleasant position however it appeared to be allocated to those patrons having High Tea??.
The only reason I can see why this situation arose was that the manager decided to position everyone on the one deck so that he required less staff to cater for the day.
Cost cutting at the expense of the customer.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!!
You cannot sell someone something called a TOP DECK LONG LUNCH and give them a MIDDLE DECK SLAP UP TUCKED IN THE CORNER.
Captain Cook Cruises have changed for the worse and the only positive thing is that you gave me the opportunity to tell you what we thought of your changes before I went onto facebook to warn others of your new practices.
Product: Cost cutting at the expense of the customer experience.

Service: We boarded at Circular Quay and were shown to our table. Not long after we were offered water from the carafe - this was the last time we were offered water. Our entrees were served very quickly and they asked if we would like to wait to our mains-we said yes. They then came out not so long after. We pulled into Darling Harbour for the first time and the waitress asked if we would like our dessert now or did we want to wait. We said we'd wait. As we got around to the harbour bridge, we were given our dessert. We said, when asked at Circular Quay, that we were staying on board as we had booked the Long Lunch Cruise 3 1/2 hours. In retrospect, we should have got off. The food was great, but the drink service was virtually non-existent. No one asked if we would like coffee or offered to replenish our water and having already been on the first outbound trip, we did an even shorter version - not sure why you sell it as a 3 1/2 hour cruise.
Product: Please read all my comments re the service, or lack thereof. From where the boat turned around and started heading back to the wharf at Darling Harbour, the staff were more preoccupied with moving tables, chairs and setting up, presumably for the evening cruise.

Service: The staff was okay. After we complained they explained that there wasn't much fish at the buffet this time, which was really disappointing.
Product: My family from Germany came to visit me in Sydney. I wanted to take them on a cruise around the Harbour with Seafood. We were all very excited and couldn't wait to get on. To say that we were disappointed in the food and the cruise in general would be an understatement.. Nothing was as it was stated on the website.
I wasn't aware that chicken and roast were considered "seafood". There was one type of fish and some oysters, the rest was rice, chicken, roast and a few salads and some dry bread rolls. We took a photo of one of our plates to compare to the photos online. Online we were promised a variety of fish and prawns and not just dry fish and oysters. After telling the staff, they had some excuse as to why there was only two types of seafood. The food was absolutely miserable and a waste of money. We should have gotten fish and chips from Circular Quay, it would have not only been tastier and more authentic but also not a complete waste of money.

Service: Overall the experience was very good and the food and the service excellent.
However the were a few minor issues that were a little off putting - We had a couple of older people in our group and all the stairs to get up to the dining level and then up and down to the toilets was problematical and it was a reasonably hot day and the air conditioning was not fantastic and it was difficult to get out side to get some fresh air as there seemed to be a couple of private functions going which limited access to the deck areas.

Service: When we booked onto the cruise, there was no indication that the lunch was to be conducted upstairs. On arrival to the boat we were directed to go up the stairs where lunch was to be served. My wife is disabled and could not climb up the stairs. We were seated on main deck level, a table was prepared for us. We were seated alone in a rather large room with a window seat. To travel all the way from south west Victoria to see the Harbour on a luncheon cruise was on our to do list. Our experience was disappointing to say the least. There was no ambience to the occasion. We will not be recommending any of your services to any of our friends.
Product: Should we have received the service you advertised it was good value. however in our case your advertised experience fell way short of expectation.

Wonderful cruise. Fantastic service.
I was suppose to take a lady in a large electric wheelchair. Luckily she was sick and wasn’t able to attend I had rung and was told the John Cadman was wheelchair accessible.
I had explained it was a very large electric wheelchair. I had plan ed to rebook for the lady in the wheelchair but on checking while there the ramp is very steep and at the top there is a thick metal bar which the wheelchair would be unable to navigate.
Must be very careful when you say wheelchair accessible. Need to clarify. It would of been awful if I had brought the lady and been unable to access the John cadman.

Service: We had a lovely cruise the food was good the service good and the wine was good.
The boat was clean and tidy. On the voyage we did see a lot of the harbour but could have gone a bit closer to see manly wharf as we had friends form South Australia with us.I am not sure if they did tell us but we were not aware for a while that the information was only on the top deck. Would tell anybody to do this trip thoroughly enjoyed it..

The 2 entrees we had were both very ordinary - Tiger prawns, and the Ravioli pasta.
The Tenderloin main course was very good.
The desserts were pretty small and looked like they had been out for a while.

We had a party of 9 - the food was fine and the waiter service was fine, except our 'fine' waiter advised us the cruise was over once we had returned to Circular Quay at approx 2.15pm and we all disembarked. Upon later research we realised we had been short changed by an hour and half! The issue was also mentioned by another of our party members via on line complaint . - The situation was an obvious misunderstanding by the staff member of the cruise length, we are sure he did not knowingly mislead us. Some of our party were quite satisfied with the cruise to that point anyway and had basically seen enough. Overall the experience was enjoyable
however we have missed an opportunity to enjoy more of Sydney Harbour !

Service: We really enjoyed our lunch and cruise. We only had a short stay in Sydney and this was a great way to enjoy a meal and the lovely views of the harbour at the same time. Would recommend.

Service: We spent a lovely long lunch cruising Sydney Harbour. The meal was enjoyed by all. We all felt that it would have been a lot more enjoyable if the 2nd part of the cruise went to different part of the harbour and not back around the exact same area.

Product: Food was average, if the focus of the experience was the lunch it was disappointing, I treated myself to a cocktail but was less than impressed with what i got they didn’t even have a umbrella! This was a once in a lifetime experience for me but i felt letdown there was no flare no special touches what i got was a boat trip around the harbour and lunch there is so much scope for that to be turned into something special but it wasn’t and the trip gave itself an early mark, i realise there wasn’t supposed to be commentary but that too would have made the experience better, considering lots of people on the cruise would have been visitors to Sydney some explanation of what we were seeing would have been good, the dressed up “captain cook” seemed to be trying to blend in rather than sell the product I’m sure if he was more vocal he could attract more business fo you

Service: The Sydney 2000 was in remarkably great order for a boat of her age. Clean and fresh. The Deck we were on was spacious with huge windows to enjoy the view. The High tea offerings were delicious and generous and the service was great. Can't beat Sydney Harbour as a backdrop!

The sparkling rose on arrival was rather nice but the children were given two orange juices with no option to change to apple juice or similar.
A surprise to get deep fried spring rolls and sausage rolls on the middle tier of the plates. Also, on the top tier there were 4 minuscule sandwiches between the 4 of us ( one each)...
We asked for wine once our sparking was finished and had to pay straight away-we could could not start a bar tab-unheard of.
The commentary of the harbour was a recording-it was therefore much less personalized and it was also extremely quiet-almost inaudible.
The idea of a harbour high tea cruise was much better than the execution. I would not recommend and will not return :-(

Service: Could not hear the commentary whatsoever.
There was smoked salmon & oysters..... I don't eat raw fish nor oysters so all I could have was the chicken plus prawns. Would be nice to have maybe some cooked fish & maybe some beef. Just not enough variety.

Service: The entire Long Lunch Cruise is conducted professionally, from the boarding of the boat to the disembarking. Location of tables, service by staff and the range of food are all very good. This was about the 8th cruise we have done and all were good. Recently we were on the smaller boat than before and I would probably lean towards the larger one for experience. One little issue which I'll mention, without a solution is, the issue of the double trip which we have taken every time and enjoyed. Perhaps a clearer explanation to guests as to their options and the procedure would be helpful. We have felt , on a couple of occasions that we were not welcome to stay on for the second tour around the harbour, when the Afternoon tea group boards. Could I suggest a possibility that you consider some token addition to the Long Lunch guests who stay on for the second run of the harbour. Perhaps a glass of bubbly at the same time as the high Tea guests get theirs, or a cup of tea or coffee simultaneously. We took our daughter on the last Long Lunch recently , which was her first time, she enjoyed it very much. But she was puzzled as we set out on the second tour around, all the guests on the other side were getting their high tea and we were sitting watching the harbour views. I just think, if you offer the second tour around, then some form of inclusion would not go astray. I know everything costs money but you do really want all the guests to feel they are part of the trip for the whole of the experience.

Service: Although there were a very small number of people booked for lunch the service provided by staff was very poor. They confused the initial drinks order and forgot the coffee order at the end of the meal. We were given a basket of bread rolls for 4 people but no butter. When I asked for butter it took a long time to deliver and there were only 3 pieces of butter
Product: We were upgraded to the long lunch as not enough people had booked the buffet. We would have preferred the buffet as I assume there would have been a greater choice of dishes.
Also I paid extra for window seating but on the day there were so few customers that everyone had a window seat.

On a positive note the food was beautifully cooked and presented

Service: Outstanding. Not only was the cruise wonderful and the normal high tea catering delicious, the chefs provided my mother with a personalized selection of high tea food catered specifically for her (many) food intolerances. Although we were advised that they may not be able to cater for her requirements, we were very pleasantly surprised to find they had exceeded our expectations. Service: The service was excellent. I thought that the food could potentially be slightly improved, but overall it was good. Unfortunately I had a very noisy, large group next to me whose children screamed and ran around the whole time, which didn't make for as relaxing an environment as I would have liked. However, that is not your fault. I was offered additional champagne, possibly as an apology, and appreciated it.

My one regret is that we weren't given any information about the harbor or points we were passing, which would have been interesting and appreciate.
Product: I thought the sweets could have possibly been a bit better, but otherwise it was a nice tea service. I did appreciate that we could have more than one pot.

Service: - Table service was average. Water had to be self filled as we didn't order additional drinks so were ignored.

- Food arrived promptly which was good. Food was above average in quality, except for the desserts which were on the smaller food court like appearance side.

Since this is my first time experiencing it! For mother's day,I paid a high-tea cruise for my mum, sister and l to spend some quality with her as she is always working and barely home! We loved the whole experience! (Mostly my sister as she was excited for the food 😂!)

As my mum quote 'It was a nice change of view!' as we usually just let her sleep in, do house chores for her and make breakfast in bed!

But overall we enjoyed it! I will love to do it again sometime! I just wish that there was more variety types of food!

Service: The experience was very disappointing! We were on the same "mother's day cruise" 2 years ago and we spent the entire afternoon cruising the harbour and it was great day! This year we spent most of the day docked at darling harbour 2X and Circular Quay 2X - We spent at least 1.5 hours stopped at the dock than cruising the harbour. When I asked the lady she said its not a special cruise but a normal afternoon cruise which differ from what i was told when i booked over the phone.

Service: We took our Aunt out for a seafood lunch cruise for her 90th birthday. We could not have asked for a better day. The harbour was superb in all it's a glory on a picture perfect day. The food was excellent and plentiful and the staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make our aunt's day very memorable. They brought out the cake after lunch and even sang Happy Birthday to our aunt. She loved it and said it was the best birthday she had ever had. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

Service: The staff were all smiles, attentive, approachable and lovely.
However this being my 3rd time on the boat within 3 years I wasn't impressed with the food variety and quantity avaliable.

My previous visits the buffet had a much larger variety of options and serving sizes much larger

Desserts and fruit salad was disappointing.

To be honest i dont think I would choose this cruise again once seeing the other buffet lunch cruise options on offer for same price.

The food was fresh and varied. We paid extra for window seating and the window was very dirty making it difficult to see through. We were hosting friends from overseas and were embarrassed with how the staff discussed the drinks bill at the table. We didn’t request NRMA discount voucher for the online lunch reservation because it was difficult to know how to do this and the staff on board did not know how to apply on the drinks bill - a $5 discount on a $60 bottle of wine was not 20% discount. We were not as fast as others lining up for food so there was little left which was also disappointing. The seafood was fresh and tasty though.

Service: It was the day before Easter weekend and it was as if the staff were non existent. No-one came to take an order for drinks, we had to ask for water and go to the bar ourselves for our drinks.
We also thought that the seafood was tasteless. We invited a friend for his 80th Birthday and have been on these lunch cruises before and really enjoyed the food but this time it was very bland. So disappointing.
Product: All the seafood was very poor - completely lacked taste.

Lovely lunch, the seafood was so fresh which is amazing!
But 1.45hrs can be a bit of rushed if it's your (your guest's) 1st visit to Sydney. 2.15hrs would be more realistic to allow passengers/visitors to better enjoy the ambience.

Service: We had an excellent day, the food was very good as was the service, we also enjoyed the commentary as we floated along it was very interesting and we learnt history of Australia that we didn't know about .

Service: the service was great the food was great. but we were very disappointed that the cruise only lasted 1 hour 50 minutes when we were informed that the cruise would be 3 hours 30 minutes. we did not get what we paid for.

Service: Your booking staff was easy to deal with and informative. Upon arrival it was suggested to take photos first up on deck and then sit down to a leisurely lunch which we did and enjoyed. The only negative was I thought a bit more time would be good.

Service: Food was great. Best views in the world. Ship was also great. Only thought with the drinks service, they forgot us. Only had 1 round of drinks and not offered any further. Then they gave us the bill. We finally had to ask and also ask for coffees.

Service: We would definitely be back! We chose to do this cruise the same day we arrived in Australia for the first time-I was a little nervous about how my near 8 year old would do but according to her this cruise "Was AMAZING!!!!" and "I will remember it for the rest of my LIFE!!!". Her first high tea and the crew was tops. We were welcomed with (me)-yummy pink bubbly (kiddo)- fizzy drink of her choice. I took a time lapse of the entire trip which turned out quite well. I did feel the savoury nibbles might have been more towards adult tastes--was it onion/beetroot chutney mini pies??? (menu is online--readers can double check on their own)-- just keep that in mind if you are pondering going with a youngster--I traded my daughter some of the adulty food tastes for more kiddie one (so I missed out on a sausage roll)---was definitely not a direct mirrored plating (ie: 1 each of something for each guest it felt like- at least on our table). Not a complaint just an observation in case someone is expecting a 1:1 plating. Anyway.... High tea is up several flights of boat stairs--level up before top deck, a nice well windowed room. If you are facing the front of the boat I would definitely choose to sit on the RIGHT side as majority of what is being commentated will be out that side of the boat for most of the time. We sat front left and still was able to see quite a bit. We are allowed time out on the deck--take photos, lots of opera house and bridge opportunities. There was a professional photographer taking photos of us at our table for an extra fee per photo-- thankful for that opportunity to purchase those as it's hard to do so traveling alone with a youngster. I would suggest to the boat, that possibly not all speakers were functioning at 100% in the high tea area? I felt like sound was coming / aimed more towards the (facing front) right side of the boat--it might be beneficial to have small helper speakers scattered more towards the sides where the boat curves--I felt maybe we missed quite a bit of commentary- especially when the larger groups on the (facing front) right side of the boat were chit chatting all at once. I can imagine with a full tour commentary might be extremely hard to hear with the entire area chit chatting away. that said for other passengers...maybe keep that in mind... if you are wanting a cruise with tea for a tour commentary-and the tea is packed full...be aware you might not hear everything...the actual harbour tour might be a better fit.
Product: ease of purchase was 5 stars! booked online a few weeks before our trip overseas... printed confirmation out... got tix in hand after checking in at bookings on dock 6. easy peasy!

Service: The staff were very friendly and caring and couldn't do enough to assist my mother in her wheelchair.
Product: Food was enjoyable but I would expect a more spectacular buffet on a cruise, particularly the desserts which were very ordinary slices.

Service: The staff were lovely. We had been 12 months prior and enjoyed our time so much we booked again. However this time I felt the variety of food was not as much and there was no commentary as we cruised around the harbour. I was disappointed with that as we took our daughter this time and there were foreign visitors also enjoying the lunch, but had no idea what they were looking at.
Product: It would have been nice to know what we were eating. There was a vegetable curry, that was a bit too spicey for my daughter. She put it on her plate not knowing exactly what it was. It would also have been nice to know what cheese was on the board. Tags please.
