AusDay BYO Shark Island Picnic

Shark Island is one of the best vantage points on the harbour for Australia Day events including the Ferrython and Australia Day parade. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day on this fabulous Harbour Island on 26 January.

Shark Island is Sydney's very own picnic island located just off the exclusive eastern suburbs of Point Piper, Rose Bay and Vaucluse with 360° harbour views from the Opera House and Harbour Bridge to the west and the entrance of Sydney Harbour to the east.

YOUR SAY LONG LUNCH - From our table we had fabulous views, and my gluten free dietary request had been observed and special bread was available to me. The trip itself was spectacular and such an amazing way to see the beautiful harbour. It was my husband's birthday and the staff kindly arranged for a sparkler to come with his dessert, something he was very touched by. Thank you Captain Cook Cruises, we would highly recommend you to anyone thinking of taking a cruise. Fiona, UK

Service: Have been on many Captain Cook harbour cruises over the years. Always pleased with the service!
Product: Good value. Number of visitors on island limited. Would have liked to stay longer till around 4pm or later. Would be great if there were 2 possible return trips so that those who wish to stay longer can.
