Australia Day Fort Denison Ferry & Mini Tour

10.45am - 11.30am Ferrython
Dressed and decorated to the nines, Sydney's beloved First Fleet ferries line up for annual Ferrython dash to the finish line under the Harbour Bridge. Location: Shark Island to Harbour Bridge
11.45am - 12 noon 21 Gun Salute to Australia
In a grand ceremonial display of respect, the Salute to Australia will see the Australian Army, Royal Australian Navy and Royal Australian Air Force combine their efforts to pay tribute to our magnificent country. The 21 Gun Salute will be received by the Governor of NSW on HMAS Canberra, and synchronised groups of choirs at key vantage points around the inner harbour will lead the crowds in singing the national anthem. Location: Between Opera House & Harbour Bridge, and various other locations
12.05pm - 12.15pm Tug & Yacht Ballet
Two agile and powerful tug boats will dance with a flotilla of yachts giving harbour spectators a precision sailing display, maneuvering in unison in an amazing show. Location: Eastern Sydney Harbour
12.30pm  In the Sky - Red Berets Australian Army Parachute Display
See the team showcase their fast and agile skills. The sky will be alive with a squadron of Russian Roolettes followed by a Qantas flyover and Red Berets Australian Army parachute display. Location: Over Sydney Harbour
12.45pm - 2.15pm Australia Day Harbour Parade - Best Dressed Vessel Competition
With so much going on, Australia Day is all about doing whatever floats your boat. If that happens to be enjoying boats, then the Harbour Parade is for you. All set to make waves, the event will celebrate some of Sydney’s most iconic vessels parading around the harbour in a dazzling display of national spirit. Vessels of all shapes and sizes are welcome to join the flotilla and encouraged to deck their decks out with colour and flags. Location: Sydney Harbour 
1.00pm - 1.30pm Tall Ships Race
Watch Sydney's fleet of historic vessels as they sail from Bradley's Head and finish under the Harbour Bridge. Location: Bradley's Head to Harbour Bridge
1.30pm   181st Australia Day Regatta
The world's oldest annual sailing event has been held since 1837. See 100 vessels race around Sydney Harbour in events for all classes of yachts and 18ft skiffs. Location: Eastern Harbour
6.00pm - 9.15pm Australia Day Spectacular & Darling Harbour Fireworks
Enjoy live entertainment around Cockle Bay from 6.00pm in the lead-up to the Australia Day fireworks display - lighting up Darling Harbour from approximately 9.00pm. Location: Cockle Bay

The Rocks & Darling Harbour
