The Lane Cove River, or Turrumburra, winds its through bushland valley to join the Parramatta River at Greenwich and Woolwich to form an arm of the Sydney Harbour. The most relaxing way to travel to work or school from the greater Lane Cove community is on a rocket ferry.

Transport NSW has advised Greenwich Point Wharf will be closed from Monday 22 April 2024 for approximately 8 months for critical repair and maintenance works. Greenwich Bay Street Wharf remains open.

Applications for school passes need to be completed with the NSW Government. To apply for an annual school pass, you can apply online for a 'School Opal Card' from Transport for NSW. During the application process you will be prompted to enter operator details, please select Matilda Cruises.
Once TfNSW approves the application, your child's pass will be sent directly to the school for collection.
