Timetable

Departs  
Fri 04, Sun 06 & Mon 07 October 2013 Tickets are valid for one round trip cruise on the chosen date - 4th, 6th or 7th October. Departures every 45 minutes from 9.30am from Darling Harbour Pier 26 and Circular Quay Wharf 6. The vessel will load passengers on a first come basis - we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your preferred departure. Cruise times cannot be booked in advance.

On Friday 4th October up to 40 war ships from around the world will enter Sydney Harbour in five divisions from 6.00am to 4.00pm. Up to 17 tall ships will be positioned at berths around the harbour to welcome them.  On Sun 6th & Mon 7th October following the Review, the vessels will move to berths around the Harbour. The HMAS Sydney Association has worked with Captain Cook Cruises to create a complete range of sightseeing, lunch and dinner cruises to give spectactors the best possible coverage of the International Fleet Review. Please note, all cruise times are subject to official naval confirmation of event start times.

  • Departures every 45 minutes from 9.30am from Darling Harbour Pier 26 and Circular Quay Wharf 6
  • A limited number of advance tickets are now on sale

On 4th October 1913, the flagship HMAS Australia led the new Australian Fleet of seven cruisers and destroyers  (HMA Ships Melbourne, Sydney, Encounter, Warrego, Parramatta and Yarra) into Sydney Harbour for the first time. Exactly 100 years later, Australian and international warships will rendezvous and re-enter Sydney Harbour, on Friday, October 4 2013.  The lead vessel is expected to enter very early in the morning and Her Excellency the Governor General of Australia will welcome the Fleet from Bradley’s Head on 4 October. See the entry of the 3rd Division "Magnificent Seven" including HMAS Sydney, Darwin, Bundaberg, Perth, Parramatta, Diamantina & Yarra, followed by a 21 Gun Salute. Tall Ships Regatta

See the Tall Ships Depart Sydney Harbour for the Sydney Auckland Regatta Thursday 10th October 2013. The 2013 Sydney to Auckland Tall Ships Regatta is the first ever Sail Training International event to be held in Australasian waters. Seven tall ships from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands will race for line honours and overall winner in this inaugural event. Hundreds of crew of all levels of experience will board the ships for the event, sailing across the Tasman Sea. The Tall Ships will embark crew and leave Darling Harbour late morning, mustering on the Harbour from 1:00pm for the official start through Sydney Heads at 2:00pm.
