| 11.00am - 12 noon | Ferrython Four specially decorated catamarans battle it out for line honours and to be the first under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Starts from Fort Denison, around Shark Island and finishes at the Harbour Bridge |
| 12noon - 12.15pm | Awesome Forces - Australian Army 21 Gun Salute To commemorate the federation of our nation, the 23rd Field Regiment Royal Australian Artillery will fire a 21 gun salute from Mrs Macquaries Point, The Domain |
| 12.30pm - 1.30pm | Best Dressed Vessels Competition Famous Australian sailor, Jessica Watson will be amongst the Best Dressed Vessel Judges out on Sydney Harbour from the start of the Ferrython |
| 1.15pm - 6.00pm | 177th Australia Day Regatta The world's oldest continuously conducted Regatta, will take place at the eastern end of Sydney Harbour, featuring hundreds of yachts and small sailing craft, throughout the afternoon. A large fleet of ocean racing yachts will also race to Botany Bay and return for the Sesquicentenary Trophy |
| 1.30pm - 1.45pm | Awesome Forces - RAAF F/A-18 Hornet The Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18 Hornet is a multi-role fighter designed for both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions |
| 2.00pm - 3.00pm | Tall Ships Race Starting at Bradley’s Head, Sydney’s Tall Ships will lead an impressive fleet of historic and charter vessels as they make their way up the Harbour to finish under the Bridge |
